Repotting star jasmine

Hi all,

I've just bought a couple of star jasmine and I'm really excited about them! I've never bought any plants for the garden so a bit worried about killing them so thought I'd ask some advice...

I've repotted them into 2 big pots with stones at the bottom, some compost, then the plants and then more compost. My question is - I just put the plant in as it was, but should I have broken it apart (as in, the roots part of it)?

I haven't done that - will they die if I don't go out now and do it?

Thank you!

I would leave them, I would only tease out the roots if they were pot bound anyway, and I wouldn't bother reporting if I forgot. Good luck! Star jasmine is such an amazing smell Smile

*repotting not reporting!

@roundtwist Thank you! I was all set to creep out and try to do it in the dark, so you've saved me Smile I did just run out and give them another sniff though - they're delicious!
