Can anyone help. I have had sweet William in this border before so thought it was but I have Laos got very similar popping up in gravelled areas and between paving which I just pull up.

Weed I think - the name escapes me at the moment!

Willowherb?

Looks like willow herb. Remove!

Well that’s pretty conclusive. Thanks. Will dig it up.

Defo weed, itll just keep spreading, if it's the weed I'm thinking of they're often quite easy to remove by hand as they don't seem to have deep roots x

This came up in Active Threads and I thought at first it was a baby names thread.

Willow herb.
I have willowherb in my pond and quite like it, it has quite pretty, dainty pink flowers.

It IS very invasive though.
Fortunately it’s shallow rooted do pulls up easily but it spreads everywhere very fast

I think of willowherb as a wild flower rather than a weed. It's pretty in the right place and easy to pull up if you get too many.
