How to bring this plant back?!

My DH bought me this lovely house plant but I'm
almost certain I've killed it. Most leaves are green but the flower buds never flower! Any advice?

Put it in the garden in a sunny spot, they're much happier outside and will survive the winter if your garden is fairly sheltered.

I agree this plant should really be outside. They're sold as house plants but I don't think it naturally would be. Also is it getting enough water? X

Ooh okay I'll pop it outside tomorrow then! Can you tell me what it's called at all? Hopefully if it gets a new lease if life I can post an update!

It just looks like a miniature rose? My DP got me one for my birthday a couple of weeks ago, all the buds have bloomed but the leaves at the bottom have turned a bit yellow.

We were confused because the label says keep it in shade but internet advice says direct sunlight! I don't think mine will last as we don't have a garden, but at least it came in a lovely pot I can keep

It does look like a miniature rose, roses love the sun which is possibly why it's not going great in doors. I think they've started to try and sell miniature roses as gifts for in doors due to their pretty flowers but really they naturally found outside and will do better out there

Thanks everyone - it does indeed look like a miniature rose! I've popped it in the sunlight outside so fingers crossed!

It's going to do better outside and I'd repot it into a bigger pot, too, if it was mine.
