Can anyone help me identify if this bush is actually Rosemary? It smells strongly and looks similar? I would like to use some on my potatoes but I'm unsure.

It looks more like Lavender

It is definitely lavender! Great in biscuits but I’m not sure about potatoes!

Oh thank god for Mumsnet. I'm allergic to Lavender and was about to have a nibble. Thank you lovelies.

It's lavender.

Rosemary is a darker green, with stiffer leaves, and flowers in the leaf axils rather than in a spike on top.
