Not naff garden decor

DH and I are finally tackling our back garden after at least 10 years of neglect. We are building some raised beds and doing some other areas like decking, veg pots etc.

I would love one or two garden ornaments but I am terrified of turning in to my Mother who has a hundreds of the bloody things. Stone owls and foxes, statues of little kids to represent her Grandchildren (The youngest of which is now 15!)

Is it possible to have something not naff?! I'd love a fairy garden as per another thread but DH is not keen!

I’d just embrace the naffness! I’ve got a bright blue ceramic bird from Homebase and I’m planning on getting a few coloured spheres. Those might be a bit more classy.

Oh I like the sound of spheres!

All garden decorations are naff. Period.

Just embrace the naff-ness and buy a garden gnome (or one of those fancy spherical things if you dare to be bold). After all, the neighbours need something to talk about don't they?

PS. If anyone judges you just blame it on online shopping due to covid. We can all relate.

Naff is subjective.

Have what you like in your garden.

I have big Lewis Chessmen.
