BBQ Help

Hiya,

My hubby is almost 40 and I'm thinking of getting him a new bbq, whilst its a big one! Has anyone got or used a Kamado Joe type bbq? The big ceramic egg type ones. I've been a bit geeky and studied a few of these, big green egg doesn't seem to be as good and not as many accessories. So I'm considering one of these, any advice would be a huuuuge help. He refuses to have a gas bbq!

We bought the cheap aldi version which arrived yesterday. It looks good. We did plenty research too and the ceramic egg bbqs are meant to be fantastic. A friend has a big green egg and raves about it, he uses it for cooking everything.

Have a look at the ProQ bullet smokers - really good quality, can be used for BBQ or smoking. Or a Weber one which are much the same but more money.

Thanks all, yep those ceramics are supposed to be great at keeping the heat in like an oven. Hopefully it will free my oven up for baking .

He's keen to get a rotisserie for it as well, so thats all the Sunday roasts sorted!
