Nasty little buggers...I've just tipped out an old plant to re-use the pot and there was fifty of the little swines lurking therein

I put them on a plate and within seconds a female blackbird came down and skewered most of them on her beak and flew off. A robin got the rest. There will be a few fledglings getting a nice supper tonight

Excellent tip, I never thought to leave them out for the birds!

Wonderful. They really give me the shivers when I see them. They might be in other pots, so I’d get some nematodes to get rid of any chance.
