I've just installed a small garden pond outside our window. It's on an unused bit of patio on a raised bed. I've not bought any plants or pumps yet. I want low maintenance ideally solar things so don't need to have an electrician.
Today there were loads of midges around it. Can I do anything to minimise this?
Plants etc?
Also what can I plant in or around it?
I'm clueless!
