It's dangling down in a big bush and looks lovely and pink. Is anyone able to identify it at all? Thanks

I can't help as I'm a gardening novice but I downloaded a free app called Picture This which is amazing. I just take a photo of the leaves on the plant and it instantly tells me what it is!

@MoreMoneyPlease that sounds good! I'll give that a go. Thank you!

They might be tamarisk flowers, what does the whole bush look like?

DripDrip · 01/05/2020 18:53

@adacoleman I think you're right. Unfortunately the garden is a mess and there's ivy covering the stump it's growing off from. I've just moved into a new house and I'm a bit out of my depth with the mature garden. Smile

Yes, I see there is a little frond type leaf stem on the photo, that looks right for tamarisk. They are a lovely tree. Are you near the coast, they seem to do well in coastal areas.
What fun you will have finding out what everything is! Wishing you lots of joy in your new home @DripDrip.

@adacoleman I'm actually in the midlands. It's certainly a lot of figuring everything out. I had lovely tulips spring up a little while ago. It certainly looks like a garden that was very much loved at some point.
