Plum Tree

Hi all,
I have a lovely plum tree that has the most amazing plums but every year we get pests that mean a lot of the fruit is wasted. Ideally I would prefer the fruit to remain organic and haven't used pesticides but what is the best way to protect them?

Do you know what the pests are that are affecting the fruit? Different pests need a different approach.

Applying glue bands to the tree will stop pests that can’t fly, but I think that’s best done in winter. Applying a winter wash is also good for keeping pests under control, but as the name suggests that’s also something that’s done in winter.

Other than that, I have no idea!
