Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this plant ?
Should it stay or should it go?

Thankyou !

Is it lysimachia punctata? It looks similar to that before it shoots up into tall spikes with yellow flowers.

thankyou !

I think the leaves are more "ragged" - the edges aren't smooth like on the images of lysimachia punctata I've found.

Maybe some kind of Lamium (Dead Nettle)?

Thankyou - but i think the leaves are slightly bigger and less "furry"

Another thought I had was Borage or Comfrey but I think they have smooth edges to their leaves.

Its not mint is it? Sorry trying to see it on a phone screen but looks vaguely like lemon mint

Yes, leaves too jagged for Lysimachia punctata, wrong shape (too long) for Lamium. Definitely wrong for borage and comfrey that don't have stalks denseley packed with leaves like that. Pretty sure it's not a mint either. If it were mint, or lamium, or anything in that family, it would have square stems,

It has something of the look of Hemp agrimony (Eupatorium cannabinum) though I'm not convinced - throwing that in in case it prompts anyone else to come up with the right id.

I think you need to let it grow until you've got a flower.

Thankyou all - I think I will have to wait it out!

Merci beaucoup!
