Just that. I've treated myself to a huge Whichfird pottery terracotta urn/jar. So big that when it came off the pallet my (very slight) 22 year old DD managed to climb inside. I've got a big garden and can think of lots of places it could go. But I have no idea what to plant in it.
Show us your urns, ladies!
When I figure out how to post a pic I will try to do so! But tis massive

Nuther question, what's your gargening style? Is said gert big urn modern or more romantic looking?

cathyandclare · 26/04/2020 14:41

Watching to poach ideas! I have a big urn in a shady spot and it's empty. Will share my pic in the spirit of the thread- but it won't provide much inspiration!!

oo- lovely but in my parlance I would call it a 'git big urn'. I want two
of them!

Gatekeeper · 26/04/2020 19:01

I think they look good just as they are

GarethSouthgatesWaistcoat · 26/04/2020 19:03

Will it be upright or on its side with plants tumbling out? Grin

I'll get my act together tomorrow and take a pic. My gArden style though is prob quite romantic/old fashioned. I live in an old farmhouse with lots of natural stone around, and fleabane tumbling out of the cracks. Herbaceous perennials in borders, and a separate veg patch.
