Choisya I think

Lunaballoon · 20/04/2020 07:46

Second Choisya.

ClientQ · 20/04/2020 07:52

Oh that was quick Grin thank you!
It was planted about 12 years ago (new build) and I want to run it further along the fence line as it makes a nice hedge type

I love these. Pretty much indestructible, need little care and also have fabulous flowers.

ClientQ · 20/04/2020 08:19

Sounds exactly what I need more of! It was planted by the site people so I didn't choose it but I do nothing to it and it looks after itself

You're lucky, it's lovely! It's good when the developers put in something nice that works.

I don't know about it being 'indestructible' - I've lost one here and also in my previous house. Maybe it needs to be a bit warmer, I'm in the north?

MissEyelesbarrow · 20/04/2020 08:53

And bees love Choisyas.

ClientQ · 20/04/2020 08:59

@ErrolTheDragon NW here so not the warmest but it's done well so far

Maybe mine were just in the wrong position. Glad yours is thriving!

Pretty much indestructible Mine's completely vanished over winter! Wasn't even a particularly cold winter.
