Can you identify this tuber?

Just dug these up and not sure what they could be.

I thought horseradish but... seems small. They don’t smell of anything- white and juicy fibrous matter inside - I am not brave enough to taste!
Let me know if you can identify these for me please? Thank you!

Thanks! It is most definitely a Dalia- forgot about it - it’s not emerged yet like the peony next to it and I lost track!

You need to see if it has growth "eyes" on the tuber. Some of mine are being very slow in waking up but I know they had

I'm fairly sure dahlia tubers are edible if you don't want to replant them all.
