Hedge garlic! Orange tip butterflies are attracted to it.

Yes, it smells garlicky, got it under all my hedges. Bloody nuisance.

Yes, garlic mustard, `Jack by the hedge, hedge garlic. Wildflower. Edible. Since it's now 2 weeks since we've been able to get a delivery, it's featuring highly in our lunch time salads.

It's also a food plant for the orange tip butterfly - if you look under the flower heads you may see a little orange egg.

Thank you all! Will need to think about whether to pull up. Don’t want to steal the butterflies’ food but also don’t want the plant taking over the garden! Handy to know it is edible though - thank you!
