Just moved house and they have baskets fixed to the wall but I can get a liner anywhere. I've managed to order some plants and soil but no liners!! What could I use??

I've used carrier bags, the compostible ones for the co op. No real help as only just put them in but I had everything else and also couldn't get liners.

Maybe I could cut up a black bag 😬

You could try the bag your compost comes in. They're usually black inside, so if you turn it inside out (so the black side is visible), it should look ok.

Amazon are still delivering! If you cant find that exact shape, you can buy small rolls of the coir matting and a different, green type matting to line baskets.

I've always used black plastic bin liner, line the basket and then cut the overhanging bits off. Make small holes for the plants you want trailing out of the bottom, insert plants, fill with compost then do the top planting.

I had been wondering what to use for mine. Thanks for the ideas. I hadn’t though of using the compost bag.

They have them available on ebay and amazon. I always line the inside of the coir lining with the plastic from bags of compost.
