What type of plant is it? Do you know? Stems still look green, you can behead them, add more soil and water and see if they regrow?

It was meant to be a peace lilly

Cut it back to soil level, wait and see.

That’ll be fine I reckon. Water it and prune any parts dead/ dying. Maybe put some liquid plant food in it to pep it up a bit?
