Plants for very wet soul

Hello all, hoping for some help. Can anyone recommend a plant for a very wet border? This part of our garden is constantly boggy. Bamboo was a suggestion from family, but websites are giving conflicting info about whether it survives in wet soil.

Foxgloves, astilbe, primulas, ferns, epymedium, veronica, some astrantia will tolerate it well and flower for months, we get masses of aquilegia growing in our wet border, a honeysuckle does very well and a plum tree and a climbing rose.

I really know nothing, and it's my goal over the next weeks/ months to get this bog sorted - do these types of plants stay all year? I hate this part of the garden being bare.

I think most of those are perennials which die back in winter. I've got a euonymus in my damp border, they're evergreen and can be kept small, and there are various different colours. Pulmonaria is in flower now, and the 'normal' primroses.
