What to grow

Hello

So given current situation. I thought we might grow a few things. We don't have much space. So not even sure it's worth it. We have lots of potted herbs. Wondered about a potato barrel. Maybe some strawberries. Anything that doesn't take up much space and would be worth it just to have some fresh veg now and again?

I'd grow things that you could pick earlier than later. Lettuce, radishes, swiss chard, cabbages/kale which you can pick leaf by leaf rather than cutting a whole head. Cucumbers are surprisingly quick. French beans, mange-tout or sugar snap peas. And definitely strawberries of you grow from plants not seeds.
