Does Weedol Lawn Weedkiller work?

I have a few dandelions in the lawn which I'd like to deal with, it's the first time I've ever had a lawn! In the past I've used Resolva when I had a patio garden but that kills everything.

I've come across Weedol Lawn Weedkiller which will apparently deal with the weeds and not kill the lawn. Sounds too good to be true... does it work? Or should I just get the strong stuff and try and target the weeds?

Or should I just get the strong stuff and try and target the weeds? No. Grass is very sensitive to glyphosate, for example, (still on sale but soon to be banned in Europe). Resolva isn't a glyphosate weedkiller, but is still lethal to grass, so trying to target the dandelions is liable to leave you with bare patches, ready to colonise with more "weeds". If you must get rid of the dandelions, stick with the lawn weedkiller.

Sorry to go off my own topic, but any tips on lawn feed and seeding? We seem to have come out of the wet winter with some thinning muddy patches.
