I've got some long privet hedges in my garden and looking for ways I can dispose of the cuttings more efficiently. I like the idea of being able to vac them all up and then shred them down to hopefully use as mulch. The vac/shredders sound ideal, but I'm wondering whether the suction on them actually lasts. I could potentially buy a seperate vac and shredder although storage space is a bit of an issue. If you have a vac or shredder and used it for a similiar job would you recommend it?
