What are these spots on my peppermint plant?

Massive gardening noob. In fact this fella is fairly new and still living in a pot on a windowsill for now. Does anyone know what these little silver blobs are on the leaves and should I be worried?

I'd assume eggs. I wouldn't worry, but I would flick them off with a fingernail, or squash them gently.
