Blight on Apples, what can I do?

For the last couple of years our 30 year old apple tree has had a blighted crop, with every apple covered in a rusty mildew like blight. They rot very quickly.
I'm wondering if there is anything I can do this year to prevent it as prior to this the tree was a heavy cropper. It's a Granny Smith tree, we also have a couple of Bramleys and Egremont Russets and so far they have been ok.
