Garden seating

I'd like to buy a new garden bench but want something sturdy, rustic and out of the ordinary. ( It's to commemorate my wonderful gardening mum who died last year, but I don't want anything engraved or with a plaque on or mawkish) Wood, stone or slate would all be good. I've googled and searched, but everything seems a bit run of the mill. Anyone got any brilliant ideas or secret knowledge of seat companies I may have missed? Thanks.

If you're looking for something a bit different it might be worth going to one of the large flower shows run by the RHS, they have a lot of trade stands at those.

Ok, so its not what you asked for, and may be considered mawkish but I adore the Wild in art book benches, if you're in any way creative you could paint (or get someone to paint) a garden on the bench...ok that possibly is too sentimental but I think they can look bloody brilliant. They are weirdly comfy they had them in London in random spots about 6 years ago - www.wildinart.co.uk/wia-sculpture/bookbench/

Ah AmIaWeed what a great off the wall suggestion. I like this kind of rather different stuff (and my late father was a novelist, so a brilliant connection there). Thank you.
