Houseplants that like indirect sunlight and no drafts, advice pls

I'm not sure what to do about some houseplants that require indirect sunlight but no drafts.

I live in a NE facing flat. Weak direct light (which I can make more diffused by putting objects in front of plants) in morning just by the large windows. But that's also where the drafts are!

The rest of the flat is either very dark or has no direct or indirect light.

Plants include Begonia Maculata, Chinese Money plant, Philedendrons, Oxalis Triangularis and Pothos.

The reality is that houseplants have to put up with conditions inflicted on them that aren't always to their benefit. If you don't have the optimum location where they will always be happy, it involves quite a labour-intensive job of moving them away when there's direct sunlight and bringing them back when the sun has moved. If you're out at work during the day it means you can't do that.

My begonia and money trees (I have 3 of different sizes) seem to do fine on window ledges and have adapted well to non-optimal conditions. You'd have to put a bomb under a money tree to kill it

It could be worth you getting a small portable plant shelf unit that you can use to shift them away from direct light in summer, but other than that, just trial and error and moving them around every week so they don't ever stay in the same position for too long is how mine survive.

Thanks for the advice! Bomb proof plants are exactly what I need. I'll give it a try. Didn't to have too much faff with the plants but think I'll have to suck it up!

NE is fine for "indirect sunlight". The sun when it's in the NE is too weak to worry them. Have you got curtains? Drawing the curtains between the plants and the window at night will stop the worst of the draughts. Draughts in the day time won't be too much of a problem. Philodendron is tough, I haven't grown the rest.
