I have just planted some autumn bliss canes on my allotment. The canes are about 60cm tall. I am confused about whether to cut them down to 25cm, as some sites advise, or let them be and prune next year. Any advice welcome. In the meantime I’ve staked them as it’s pretty windy right now and of course likely be plenty more windy until spring.
