Obviously the roses are still going strong but I'm also delighted that my Cosmos are still blooming. Makes me very happy on this cold November morning Smile

I've got tomatoes still turning red and it's really chilly and there's hardly any light. The actual plants look really scruffy and mangy but the tomatoes look fabulous. It's like all the plant minions decided 'fuck the greenery, we're ALL making tomatoes from now on'

I have a lovely white fuschia that is budding.

sandgrown · 16/11/2019 08:23

My hanging baskets are still flowering.

Ginfordinner · 16/11/2019 08:27

My campanula are gearing up for another flowering

BlueCowWonders · 16/11/2019 08:35

Yes A&P! I forgot about the fuschia still valiantly showing off!

My fuchsia have been lovely this year, still going strong, and I still have a couple of lupins!

AlwaysOnAbloodyDiet · 16/11/2019 10:04

That's great OP, I love Cosmos. Lucky you!

Ginfordinner · 16/11/2019 10:16

My fuchsia are going strong as well

PostNotInHaste · 16/11/2019 10:17

Fuschia here as well

hoochymamgu · 16/11/2019 12:17

Definitely going to give cosmos a go next year Grin

I wish the Bicopa would stop flowering around my potted Holly balls. I’ve got viola waiting to take their place, but can’t bear to lift the Bicopa.

Disfordarkchocolate · 16/11/2019 16:54

Fuschia I found hidden under a bush and had to trim a lot - still trying to show me it's worth it.

Summer violas - just starting to look tired.

Buddleia - still adding new flowers. No butterflies left though.

Cosmos, nasturtiums (I count the first "real" frost from when the nasturtiums collapse into mush), harebells, primroses and auriculas on a second flowering.

And of course the winter flowers are coming along now - so far winter jasmine, Viburnum bodnantense, Cyclamen hederifolium (beginning to go over, soon to be replaced by C coum).

And we have 3 cacti in flower - a late Gymnocalycium, Mammillaria scheidiana, and M decipiens.

WellTidy · 17/11/2019 10:43

Salvia Amistad looking great, still. Nerines coming to the end.

BlueCowWonders · 17/11/2019 13:33

And marigolds!
Dd planted them about three years ago and they're still going strong (I wish I liked them more...Grin)

Bluecow They're a nice autumnal colour - orange looks OK at this time of year whereas it tends to look totally out of place at other times. But there are lots of varieties in nice old gold, apricot or cream colours - would you be able to like those a bit better?

My geranium window boxes are still doing really well despite heavy frosts. I thought they were on their Way out last month, watered them and they started flowering again. I've usually bunged them in the compost by now and planted the winter bedding, but these are so nice that I just planted the spring bulbs around them. I assume next month I'll cut them back but the trailing geraniums still have lovely colour so I'll just leave those as they are.
