Anything I can do to help me poor conifers?

Took them from their pots - and put in the ground. They were dry as a bone and a bit browny. They are about 4 years old and 5 feet tall.
Is there any feed I can give them to help?

water and more water! it's the most important thing. Then any general purpose feed, like growmore or chicken pellets. But confers are tricky - if bits have died they are unlikley to grow back or regenerate themselves in a useful way.

thats what I was afraid of Eyesfront. I had heard if bits died they don't come back.
