Poisonous tree berries? (Photo)

Hi, we have move recently and a tree in our garden is dropping lots of red berries... no idea what tree this is or if they might be dangerous for our dog and wondered if anyone knew/could help?

I think you have a Sorbus tree there - if so, the fruits are edible. It's hard to be sure from your photos, so check it out on the RHS website or similar to see if you think it's a good match.
