Hedgerow recipies

We have a beautiful native hedge running down one side of the garden - rosehips, sloes, haws, rowan, crabapples, blackberries and hazelnuts galore! I'm a dab hand at hedgerow jelly and have made the odd sloe gin but would love to try more. I wondered if anyone could recommend recipies or recipe books which have more creative ideas for hedgerow finds?

Diana Henry Food from Plenty might be a good start.
I love hazelnuts, loads is Swiss/north Italian recipes use them in cakes and biscuits. Try linzertorte, brunsli, zimtsterne (recipes will all be online in English).
We made a blackberry and apple loaf yesterday from bbc food, was delicious!

Hedgerow chutney - google it. It was a Lakeland recipe from a few years ago.

Oh thanks for all the suggestions! Sunny I hadn't thought of cakes, will get on it! That book looks fab too. MrsS I am a big chutney fan so will definitely look that up.

Sewing we do have a hedgehog family in the garden but I think eating them is frowned upon nowadays 😂.

Mere thank you, we are very lucky, the previous owners ripped out leylandii and got the hedge started so I can't take credit but it's a wonderful thing to have!
