We saw this plant in a garden in Cornwall and it was absolutely covered in bees! We are looking to make a 'pollinator corner' in the garden next year and we would love to include it but we don't know what it is. Does anyone recognise it please?

It looks like a Sedum - possibly 'Dark Magic' www.kernock.co.uk/acatalog/Sedum-Dark-Magic-P-U5748.html

Sedums are very attractive to bees and butterflies, and need to be grown in a very sunny position.

Ooh that looks like it!! Definitely one of those sedums for sure. The spot we are planning to use is very sunny so should be perfect. Thank you so much!

There are a few red sedum out there at the moment, I have Red Cauli and Purple Emperor but to be honest any sedum is popular with bees.

Also try salvia. We planted several this year around seating. Yesterday it was a hive of activity both bees and butterflies. We even had a hummingbird hawk moth a few weeks ago (midlands). They are spectacular.
