So many slugs in our garden!

I have no idea what’s going on the past week but we have had so many slugs every single day. I would say around 20/30 every morning. It’s driving me insane! Daughter can’t play out because they are all over the grass. How do I get rid of them? We don’t have any flowers. X

You can buy nenotodes that you mix with water and then water your garden with . They then kill all of the slugs. Not tried it myself but been tempted in the past. They are around £10 on Amazon.

I came on to say nematodes. They do work but you have to redo every 3 months or so and use when soil is damp.

Pick them up everyday with gloves and dump them at least 150 meters away. Or do you know anyone with chickens? They love them. Don’t salt, pellet or eggshell them, there will be slime and body parts everywhere.

Aussie is thinking of a beer trap, out a little beer in a Bowl and bury it a bit, it’s not the alcohol that attracts them though, it’s the malt, hops etc.
