how do you do that watering thing with an upside down plastic bottle?-am going away and don't want plants to die:)

Also any other ideas for keeping things watered would be mst gratefully recieved

if you want to keep any indoor plants watered either stand them in a bath with some water or place strand of knitting wool from a bowl of water to the houseplant and it will draw the water slowly, you can stand house plants around the bowl and put a strand into each pot.sorry i cant help with the plastic bottles.

make a very small hole in the lid. fill the bottle with water, put the lid on tight, tip it upside down and shove the lid into the compost. the trick is getting it to stand up in the compost of course!

if they are outdoors move them somewhere shady if possible
