Black leaves on pear tree

Can anyone tell me why is wrong with my conference pear tree?

This is the 3rd year the leaves have been speckled black. Every autumn I collect and dispose of the leaves but still they turn black.

I have the same on mine, it doesn’t affect the pears so I’m reluctant to do anything about it.

I also noticed the same thing at NT horticultural college gardens. They’d obviously not done anything either.

Oh really! Maybe it's not an issue then. Ours has yet to bear any fruit - it's 3 years old.
