What are these leaves?

We planted some bedding plants a couple of months ago, and now there are some large green leaves in the midst of them. We're not sure if they're one of the bedding plants or a weed. Can anyone identify them? See the red arrow in the pic.

We have them in our garden, I can't for the life of me remember the name though! I think it begins with a....so helpful!

Pulmonaria/lungwort?

StinkyDora · 21/07/2019 12:41

Are they hairy? Possibly comfrey or voyage if they are.

orangeshoebox · 21/07/2019 12:42

a foxglove?
or comfrey or alkanet?

StinkyDora · 21/07/2019 12:42

Borage!

CrazyCatLady13 · 21/07/2019 12:43

Could be borage if they're bristly, or foxglove, or burdock. All of them self seed. It's difficult to tell until they flower.

Yes! Comfrey - clearly not beginning with A...we have loads of it in the garden. Be careful about letting it get big - it takes over and it gives me a horrible rash when I pull it out.

Yes, they're hairy.

Looks like green alkanet - same family as comfrey and borage.
