I’ve got a small flower bed at the end of the garden that DH dug for me, I’ve got violas, pansies and fuchsias in it. Something has been eating my Pansies, leaves, flowers the lot. A lot of the time the flower heads are eaten before they bloom, any idea on how to stop pests (I’m assuming some kind of bug)? I have today tried alcohol gel diluted with water and sprayed it on as suggested by google.
Also rabbits were eating the flower heads off soon after blooming but have since started spraying the flowers themselves with hairspray which seems to stopping that happening
I’m just frustrated as I’ve worked so hard on my garden and flowers this year and they look so beautiful once bloomed, lovely to see bees and butterflies at them, only to then see loads of holes on the leaves and the actual blooms full of homes or with big chunks missing
