It’s a climber/rambler (not sure which). It has flowered this year but it’s not happy. The leaves look like this.. (see pics). Any thoughts on what I can do to help it?

I’m not sure what it is, but last year my roses looked a bit infected so I sprayed with Rose Clear. This year there’s no problems, so far.

Looks like rose rust and I get the same thing on my roses.
You can pick the infected leaves off. Make sure none fall into the soil and don’t put them in the compost.
Rose rust is a fungal infection and I use bayer garden fungus fighter plus which seems to help.

Ah cool thanks, I will look at getting some spray. We are in quite a wet part of the country so I think that doesn’t help.

I get that occasionally on my roses.
They still flower though and see to always recover

Please don't spray with the non organic sprays. Your actual roses won't suffer from a bit disease on the leaves. I would say that it needs to be in full sun. You can ;wash' the leaves or just pick them off. it's not worth affecting the wild life with those sprays.

If you spray you kill the beneficial insects which would be wanting to eat your problem insects or whatever. Also those sprays can radically affect human health too.
