Replanting acer

I have a compact acer Bloodgood I bought with a view to first planting it in a pot to have on a patio, and then moving it into a border next year.

Will it cope with being replanted within a year? I don't want to stick it straight into the border yet, as I have grand designs some ideas for extending the bed into the lawn but can't facilitate that for at least six months or so.

Hi, I moved my Acer (looks the same as yours) from garden to garden when I moved house and it has done just fine. Can't speak for moving it twice in a short space of time but I imagine it'll be fine.

Thanks IStill - it doesn't need to be replanted that quickly as it will look lovely on the patio, but good to hear your acer has thrived after moving. 😊
