Stinging nettles

Hello,
We've recently moved into a old house which needs a bit of work doing to the garden. I have dug up all the weeds/nettles directly next to the house but am wondering what I should do to this patch in the grass. Should I dig these out or is there something I can use on them or even just keep mowing them? We have a few patches throughout our garden and young children so ideally need them gone.

I would if you can afford it, mow/strimmer them down as much as you can, then get it top soiled and returfed.

They are an absolute bugger to get rid of! (they do make quite nice soup though)

any lawn weedkiller will get rid of the small ones like that. Mow them down then a week later treat.

Perfect thank you. I've not had a garden of my own and spent so long cutting the bigger ones down and digging the roots out I am glad it is going to be simple for these little ones!
