How much for a new fence?

Currently have three sides(12 panels in total of bog standard fencing). How much do you reckon this will cost. Some of the posts need replacing as they're rotten but gate is fine. TIA

Are you going to do the work yourself so just cost of materials
Are you going to put in gravel boards and if so wood or concrete
Are you going to use closed boards or lap (lap is cheaper but closed are longer lasting, stronger and look better)
How high do you want the fence
How many posts and what type
Do you need any brackets.

Wilkos sell fences panels which are the same make as b&q but a lot cheaper.

Posts it will depend if you need wood or concrete concrete are about £10 each wood are half that. Gravel boards again concrete are more expensive and will be around £15 each wood about a fiver,
Brackets will depend on how many and the size you need.

Fencing is not cheap unfortunately

We had one fence post replaced with a concrete one as the fence was leaning and it was £120

5 concrete posts, 5 concrete gravel boards and 5 6ft basic panels cost me £380 at my local builders merchants. It took my neighbour a day (builder) to fit them.

I've just had a quote to do 2 sides of a medium size suburban garden. Replace whole fence £1350.

We had six panels with new concrete posts and it cost £1300

Thank you for replies. We are looking to pay a firm to do it.

I've just charged the local council (I work for a main contractor) about £1700 to supply and fit with concrete posts 10nr closeboard fence panels.

£100 per fence panel including new concrete posts is what I paid last year.

So aim to get all your 12 panels plus posts done for £1000 all in if you can.
