Pigeons in the garden :-/

We have about 5 pigeons nested in a neighbours bush. They constantly fight and flap around while we're trying to sit outside and crap on our shed and generally are very unwelcome. Is there anyway to keep birds away from the garden? And our cat is useless, more scared of them 🙄

I've had partial success with old CDs fixed (not twirling around) to shrubs or shed - the pigeons seem to be scared of their own reflection as they come in to land. Not foolproof but might be worth a try. I saw a lot of life-size model owls at the seaside recently to deter seagulls, that might work.

@BobTheDuvet the cat would not be happy with us!

@aircooled funnily enough my mum just suggested the same thing... might give that a try
