Hello,

Please can someone identify these plants in my garden? Have been here since November so have sort of just been letting everything grow to see what comes up. Please can someone tell me what they are?

Thank you!!!

The first picture might be a teasle. They get pretty huge, but the birds love them. Beware of self seeding though.

Yes no 1 is a teasel, they do grow very large and are quite magnificent in the right place.
I left one when it had finished, died and dried, next to my pond. It’s like a sculpture now but I suspect it will eventually succumb to the weather and break up.
Ask pp said birds and bees love them.

The tallish purple flowers around the rose are aquilegia (columbines) Which will self- seed.

The thing with the small deep blue flowers is alkanet, which I've heard can become an invasive weed so maybe should be removed before it can set seed - use gloves as I believe it can be an irritant. Tbh best always use gloves anyway.

Not sure but above and slightly to the left of Bob’s number one I think you have a sedum, something along of Autumn Joy.
