Climber for wire arch

I’ve just purchased a wire arch to help divide some areas of the long narrow garden and I’m not too sure what plants I should be buying to climb up it

I didn’t have the budget for a beautiful arch so it’s white basic and needs coverage.

Would a Virginia creeper work on wire frame or would I need some other type of climber ?

Will your arch be in the sun or shade for most of the day?

The main area of the arch will be in the sun.
The ground the arch is into might be half shady later in the day

Virginia creeper would quickly swamp a small arch. Why not go for Jasmine, climbing rose, clematis or honeysuckle.

A clematis would do well; they like their feet in the shade and head in the sun.
