We have an IBC taking the water off a shed roof which we bought second hand last year. The water smelt foil but was fine for the beds and I assumed it was because of whatever was in the IBC beforehand.
This year the water smelt fine earlier in the year but now reaks. I think it might be from the bird poo (the shed is under a big tree).
Is there anything I can do to filter the water/ remove the smell? I'd like to use the water in the greenhouse (the two water butts from its roof are empty already).
