Im thinking of putting a cotton lavender I don't love much beneath an old small olive tree I've had in a pot for years that needs liberating as it's gone bonsai on me, into slightly raised bed against a sunny back wall.
Only problem is that it's quite rich soil as many of the other plants are fruiting or need good soil.
Somewhere I've read santolina must not have rich moist soil?
