Can anyone name this? Weed or not?

Alpine plant. Sempervivum.

I love these, mum had them in her rockery. She called them houseleeks.

I love these too. Mine have had babies and run out of space so I have about 30 little pots of them. They make tons of babies. They are so cute.

Look great with other alpines/succulents in a shallow pot/trough/old sink. Mix lots of gravel in with soil and make sure there's good drainage.
