Box hedge woolly aphids?

Can anyone tell me if this is woolly aphids and if so, what do I need to do to treat? It is all over my box hedge but no sign of any damage.

It seems to be a year for woolly aphids - they've even found a plant on my kitchen windowsill. I've got a small pine tree in the garden and it's smothered. The aphids have literally appeared out of nowhere in about 2 days. I've sprayed with Roseclear this evening and am going to blast the blighters off with a hosepipe if that doesn't work.

Thanks, they are horrible to look at. I have also tried the Rose clear this morning, did you get any improvement after using it @horizontalis?

@WattdeEll They haven't dropped off, and it is hard to tell whether they are dead or still alive, so I will have to resort to the squirter.
