What low maintenance flowers would grow here

Hi im new to gardening and attempting to make my garden look nicer. Can anyone advise what flowers to sow or plant here? Currently there is just weeds and ivy making it self at home.

i think i would sow some wildflower seed, it will look bright and colourful but is low maintenance x

I’d dig it over and make a proper edge. The shrubs/ hedge will have taken a fair amount of nutrients from the soil, so I’d add some soil improver.
Hydrangeas, hebes and perennial geraniums would give lovely flowers and textures without needing much attention.
