Fence paint

Don't want orangey or chocolate brown which seem to be the most popular options - I'm hoping for a dark, aged pine or dark sandy colour.

Anyone found something worth a try?

have you looked at wilkos? There fence paints come in some lovely colours and the are quite a bit cheaper than main brands. I have used them to do the sheds and found the quality fine.

Bump as I've gone through the Wilkinson range and still got either orange or vvvvv dark brown.

Anyone else got any suggestions as need to get it sorted this weekend and I'm getting overly anxious about getting it wrong!

Did you check out this one in wilkos

It is not a paint but a wood treatment but probably the closest in colour match to dark pine

Do you know what, no, I didn't think about creosote. TBH I didn't know they did it anymore!!

Great I'll give that a try tomorrow if it ever stops raining.

They don’t make creosote anymore as it is banned. Creacote is its replacement with a new formula without the substances which were band. Not quite as good as the old fashioned creasote but it does the job.
Where I am on the south coast it has stopped raining and the sun is trying to shine. The garden really needed the rain and my water butts are full again so I am happy. Just need to go out and inspect for any damage last nights storm has caused to my plants.
