Please suggest plant suitable for pot in full sun?

It’s going to go at the front of the house on paving so can’t be planted into ground.

I want it to gain some height but not too much girth and ideally be everygreen.

Is there anything suitable?

Maybe a climber ?

Photinia/red robin.

We’ve got one in a pot out the front in full sun and it needs very little care.

You can shape it or cut it back or just leave it.

Olive tree, we’ve got one in a pot that doesn’t seem to mind drying out frequently.
